Welcome To The GSGB

The GSGB is devoted exclusively to the keeping, breeding, showing and studying all characteristics of the Goldfish. We have members from around the world, who contribute and enjoy our Bulletin which is produced 6 times a year. We hold five meetings a year at venues in Essex, Hampshire and Bedfordshire. We hold a large show at the end of September every year in Woodford Green, London.

Our meetings are a fun event for any goldfish enthusiast, from beginner to advanced. A wide variety of topics are covered, and there is always time to chat to breeders to get tips and information. Everyone is welcome to visit.

Our show which is held in September, is a very popular event on any goldfish enthusiast’s calendar. There is a large variety of top quality goldfish to be seen, and the very popular auction. This is where members get to sell their surplus fish, and buy any they may be interested in keeping, for a fraction of the retail cost. There is no entrance to fee to the show and auction.

Like most societies, the GSGB has a committee who is responsible for its day-to-day running. If you are interested in receiving more information please contact our Treasurer, Michael Pepper, via email.
