Another dorsal-less variety that splits opinion, the Bubble-eye gets its name from the sacks that develop under the eyes. As the fish grows, so do the Bubbles and that can lead to deportment problems of the body and tail are not in proportion to carry their weight. The bubbles can be easily damaged so care is needed to avoid sharp objects in there housing. Bubble-eyes come in both metallic and nacreous scale types and are a worthwhile challenge to any breeder. Again like the Celestial they are probably best viewed from above.
